As we get farther north we have more and more river fords. Mama Bear lost her footing early in one of them and took a wet seat in June stream, but recovered in time to shepherd the kids across the way.
We enjoyed some scenic views from the top of Moxie Bald, had some fun climbing around in the slab caves on the way up, found fun places to hang out in he hammocks, and mostly just enjoyed a perfect summer day in Maine.
Yikes! I think I’d get a tad nervous crossing those streams. I’m sure the kids are much more sure-footed, but I would be taking multiple spills on slippery rocks.
Little John’s expressions crack me up. 😀
Genuinely when someone doesn’t know afterward its up to
other visitors that they will assist, so here it happens.
